Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior has confirmed that defender Marc Cucurella is making good recovery from a hamstring injury.
The Spaniard has been on the sidelines for the past few games with the setback, but he could return to action by the weekend.
Speaking in his presser, Rosenior said that Cucurella could be involved in the upcoming FA Cup fifth round tie at Wrexham on the road.
However, he was less optimistic of him being available for Wednesday's Premier League against Aston Villa away from home.
He said: "Cucu is looking really good, hopefully we can get him involved for Saturday [if he isn't available for Aston Villa]."
Jorrel Hato got the nod at left-back against Arsenal yesterday. He produced a solid performance and kept Bukayo Saka at check most times.
He was eventually substituted due to his yellow card, but looks certain to reclaim his starting spot against the Villans on the road.
Chelsea are already three points behind fifth-placed Liverpool and must beat the Midlands outfit to stay in the Champions League race.
