Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber is doubtful with a groin injury ahead of the Champions League clash against Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday night.
The Dutchman has been a mainstay in the starting XI for the Gunners and he has been ever-present in the Premier League and Champions League games.
However, he is now doubtful to face Leverkusen in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 after his untimely blow versus Everton.
The right-back sustained the injury in the opening half of the encounter, and he was deemed unfit to continue. Cristhian Mosquera replaced him.
Manager Mikel Arteta did not provide a clear-cut update on Timber's fitness and he now faces a race against time to be fit for Tuesday's encounter.
If he is ruled out of the game, one of Mosquera or Ben White could get the nod at right-back. Mosquera seems the likely candidate to do so.
The Spaniard has been a revelation since he arrived from Valencia last summer and looks poised for a big future ahead at the Gunners.
