Arsenal are eyeing a shock move for Newcastle United left-back Lewis Hall during the summer transfer window, according to Caught Offside.
The 21-year-old has established himself as one of the best left-backs in the country and he has been touted to pursue a bigger challenge this summer.
Arsenal are reportedly one of the clubs monitoring him and reports claim that they could weigh up a formal proposal at the end of the campaign.
The Magpies are not exploring the defender's sale but it is reported that a package between 65 million and 70 million pounds could lead to his exit.
Manchester City and Liverpool are also keeping tabs on the talented defender, who may push for a new challenge during the next transfer window.
It would be a surprise if Arsenal sign him, given they already have Piero Hincapie, Riccardo Calafiori and Myles Lewis-Skelly for the left-back position.
The former signed on loan from Bayer Leverkusen last summer, but the Gunners are expected to sign him on a permanent basis by triggering a buy clause.
