Manchester United are set to hold contract discussions with defender Harry Maguire whose contract expires at the end of the campaign.
The England international started the season as a regular on the bench and also struggled with injuries. He has become an influential starter under interim boss Michael Carrick this year and talks are now underway to keep him beyond the ongoing league season.
Maguire is currently on a weekly package of £195,000 and United are prepared to renew his stay, provided he is willing to accept a pay cut. The centre-back seems willing to do so rather than pursue a new challenge away from the Red Devils on a free transfer.
While Maguire looks poised to stay, Casemiro is expected to leave on a Bosman deal when his contract expires on June 30. An announcement has already made been, and there won't be any change to those plans despite his stellar run of form over the last few months.
