Benayoun to Blackburn?

There have been reports this morning that Liverpool could be set to offer Yossi Benayoun as part of a package for David Bentley.

The Israeli midfielder is becoming increasingly frustrated with his lack of playing opportunity, and David Bentley is expected to leave Blackburn in the wake of the departure of boss Mark Hughes.



Liverpool are believed to have offered £7 million plus Yossi Benayoun for the England midfielder.



Rafa Benitez has set a mid-June deadline for Blackburn to decide on whether the offer is sufficient.
