Manchester United have identified Arsenal graduate Myles Lewis-Skelly as a top target to reinforce the left-back department this summer, according to Sky Sports journalist Danyal Khan.
The Red Devils are expected to sign a new left-back in the next transfer window and are exploring multiple options. Lewis-Skelly has now emerged as a potential target for the club.
The 19-year-old only signed a new long-term deal last summer, but he has fallen down the pecking order with Riccardo Calafiori and Piero Hincapie preferred over him at left-back.
Lewis-Skelly has made just one Premier League start this campaign and he is said to be assessing his options ahead of the summer. United would be a lucrative destination for him.
However, a deal won't be easy to pursue. The Gunners value him very highly and could easily demand £40-50 million to entertain the prospect of selling him before next season.
Ethan Nwaneri is likewise considering his Arsenal future. The academy graduate, who is presently on loan at Marseille, has not ruled out a permanent departure from Arsenal.
