Arsenal winger set to return vs Man City next month

31 March 2026 - 19:54

Arsenal winger Noni Madueke is set to return from a knee injury ahead of the Premier League clash against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium next month.

  • Chelsea prepare three readymade signings for Xabi Alonso
  • Chelsea to confirm Xabi Alonso as manager
  • The Englishman picked up the setback against Uruguay last week and he was spotted leaving the stadium with a leg brace. There were fears of a serious injury, but that does not appear the case.

Madueke's concern is only deemed a minor one which will keep him out of the FA Cup quarter-final against Southampton as well as the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final at Sporting CP.

He should return for the home Premier League game against Bournemouth and will therefore be available to face the Cityzens in a much-awaited league encounter at the Etihad on the 19th of April.

Bukayo Saka is the regular starter on the right wing, but Madueke has shown that he is a good deputy, and has been picked to start on a few occasions by Gunners manager Mikel Arteta.
