Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez has been banned for the next two matches following his misconduct during the international break.
The Argentine has been a key player for the west London giants, but his future is uncertain amid his recent interviews in the media.
Fernandez has openly spoken about his desire to play in La Liga with Real Madrid, which has not gone well with the Blues' hierarchy.
He has now been suspended for the FA Cup quarter-final against Port Vale as well as the Premier League clash against Manchester City.
In his absence, Andrey Santos looks poised to start in the heart of the midfield, while Cole Palmer could start in his regular no.10 role.
Chelsea are currently sixth in the league standings, one point behind Liverpool. They face the prospect of missing out on Champions League football next campaign.
Fernandez seems intent on pursuing a new challenge away from the Blues and there could be further exits if the club don't qualify for the Champions League next season.
