Arsenal have suffered another major injury blow ahead of the Premier League clash against Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners recently suffered a setback with Kai Havertz sustaining a hamstring injury while playing for Germany against the Netherlands.
They have now sustained another blow with Christos Tzolis picking up a hamstring issue of his own on Greece duty against the Netherlands.
The 24-year-old picked up the setback early into the contest and he was eventually replaced in the 18th minute after struggling to carry on.
The initial prediction is that he has suffered a grade 1 injury and looks poised to be sidelined when the Gunners return to action later this month.
His absence could pave the way for Eberechi Eze to start on the left wing. The Englishman could finally make his first league start of the season.
Eze has cut a frustrated figure with limited playing time this term and could now get the opportunity to prove his worth to manager Mikel Arteta.
