Arsenal are poised for a double injury boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Bournemouth at the Emirates Stadium this weekend.
The Gunners are currently nine points clear of Manchester City in the league standings, having played a game more. They have the opportunity to increase their advantage to 12 points with a win over the Cherries on Saturday.
Man City won't be in action against Chelsea until Sunday. Ahead of the game, the Gunners have received a timely boost with Jurrien Timber and Bukayo Saka on course to make their injury comebacks.
Timber has been sidelined for the last three matches, while Saka has not featured in the previous two. The duo were deemed unfit to face Sporting CP, but are expected to make the squad this weekend.
Timber has been an undisputed starter at right-back when fit and could replace Ben White. Similarly, Saka should be a guaranteed starter on the right wing ahead of Noni Madueke and Max Dowman.
