Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Bukayo Saka will be sidelined for the Premier League clash against Manchester City on the road on Sunday.
The Gunners suffered a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Bournemouth in the league last weekend. As a result, they are only six points ahead of second-placed Man City, who have a game in hand.
Arsenal need a positive result against the Cityzens at the Etihad Stadium, and ahead of the game, they will be without the services of Saka, who has been sidelined since the March international break.
He said: "Bukayo is out, that's for sure. He's just starting to do some stuff, so let's see that progression, how quickly we can go through it, and then wait, but at the moment it's not about that."
While Saka is sidelined, Noni Madueke has an outside chance of making the game, having returned to training after his knock sustained against Sporting CP in the Champions League quarter-final.
