Arsenal playmaker Martin Odegaard has provided a fitness update after the Premier League defeat to Manchester City on the road.
The Gunners suffered a disappointing 2-1 loss to the Cityzens on Sunday. Odegaard was a surprise starter after missing the last two games with a knee issue.
The Norwegian created a couple of big chances in the game, but he was unable to help his side secure a positive result from the Etihad Stadium.
Speaking after the game, Odegaard said on his fitness: "It was a tight call but I felt OK in the game. Bit tired in end but good to be back and hopefully I can be back with the team until the end."
Arsenal are only three points ahead of Manchester City after the latest defeat. The Cityzens have a game in hand and can go ahead if they beat Burnley in midweek.
Hence, the Gunners have no room for errors hereon. They must win their remaining five matches to pile the pressure on the Cityzens in the title pursuit.
