Manchester United are reportedly planning to hold talks with Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola, who is also on the radar of Chelsea.
Iraola has confirmed that he will formally depart the Cherries when his contract concludes at the end of the season. He is eyeing a bigger challenge.
The Spaniard is open to staying in the Premier League next term, and reports claim that one of United or Chelsea could appoint him as their next boss.
Chelsea have a vacancy for Iraola, given Liam Rosenior was recently sacked from the helm on the back of five straight defeats in the league without scoring.
United, on the other hand, have had a tremendous turnaround under interim boss Michael Carrick. The 44-year-old is a front-runner for the permanent position.
Still, the Red Devils' hierarchy are keeping their options open ahead of the summer, and have not ruled out turning to Iraola. They plan to hold talks with him too.
