Chelsea are reportedly prepared to demand £60m to sanction the permanent transfer of Nicolas Jackson during the summer transfer window.
Jackson was loaned out to Bayern at the start of the campaign after falling out of favour with the Blues. He has fared decently for the German champions with 10 goals and four assists in 30 appearances.
Bayern have no plans of signing him permanently, but the Blues are still confident of selling him when the transfer window reopens. They are also optimistic of securing at least £60m from his sale.
Aston Villa and Newcastle United were hot on the trail of the Senegal international last summer, and it remains to be seen whether one of them returns for his services at the end of the campaign.
Jackson would prefer a move away from English football this summer, but he would not turn down the prospect, provided he is guaranteed a regular starting position at his next club.
