Manchester United have been handed a big boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Sunderland on the road this weekend.
The Red Devils are currently on 64 points in the campaign and have already qualified for next season's Champions League with three games left.
Hence, manager Michael Carrick has the luxury to rotate his squad and he has been handed a huge boost with the return of Lisandro Martinez.
Martinez has been suspended for the last three domestic games after his sending off against Leeds United in the Premier League last month.
The Argentine is now eligible to play and should be drafted straight into the XI against the Black Cats at the Stadium of Light this weekend.
The Red Devils will want to end the season on a high note and Carrick is still expected to name a strong starting XI for the final few games.
Matheus Cunha won't be involved, however. United have an agreement with Brazil to rest him ahead of the World Cup this summer.
