German clubs want Lehmann

17 September 2007 - 19:00

A number of German sides are chasing Arsenal's goalkeeper Jens Lehmann. Lehmann's future at the club has been the subject of intense speculation since being dropped for Spanish keeper Manuel Almunia.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • Hertha Berlin, VfB Stuttgart and Borussia Moenchengladbach are all keeping tabs on Lehmann, who is set to quit north London when the transfer window reopens in January.

The German keeper is still considered his country's number 1, but it looks as if Wenger will allow Lehmann to leave for more regular first-team football.
