Chelsea could make a surprise move for Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford this summer.
The Englishman spent the previous campaign on loan with Barcelona, where he scored 14 goals and provided 14 assists in all competitions.
The Blaugrana have the option to purchase him for £26m, but they are only willing to pay around £13m to sign him permanently, as per reports.
This has opened the door for other elite European clubs, and it is claimed that Chelsea could make a surprise move for the 28-year-old.
Chelsea have had a policy of signing players aged 23 or below in recent years, but that is expected to change under new manager Xabi Alonso.
Alonso has his sights on landing readymade and experienced signings, and Rashford is one of the names in consideration for the left wing.
If the Blues were to recruit Rashford, it could pave the way for the departure of Alejandro Garnacho, who has been tipped to move to Serie A.
