Incoming Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has his sights on landing Arsenal defender Riccardo Calafiori, according to AS.
Mourinho is set to become the next manager of the Madrid giants and he is expected to be backed with plenty of funds to spend this summer.
A new left-back is one of the top priorities and reports claim that Calafiori has been earmarked as a top target by the Portuguese tactician.
Calafiori previously played under Mourinho when they were at Roma and it appears the 63-year-old would like to reunite with the Italian.
However, securing a deal for his services won't be easy. Arsenal signed the former Bologna man for around £43 million two years ago.
He remains a key player on the left side of Arsenal's backline and may not be permitted to leave unless a significant bid is proposed.
It could take a package of around £70-80m to convince the Gunners to part ways with the 24-year-old in the next transfer window.
