Chelsea have no plans to explore a move for Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez this summer.
The Blues currently have Joao Pedro, Liam Delap, Nicolas Jackson and Marc Guiu as their striker options.
Among the quartet, there is speculation that Jackson and Guiu could be offloaded in the near future.
Delap's future is also uncertain, but the Blues are not planning to make a marquee addition in the role.
Alvarez has been linked on a few occasions, but Chelsea are unlikely to enter a bidding war for the marksman.
Barcelona and Real Madrid have already had €100m and €150m bids for the World Cup winner turned down.
It has been claimed that Atletico could be willing to sell him abroad if they receive around €130m on the table.
Chelsea have been linked alongside Arsenal, but the Blues are unlikely to make an approach for the 26-year-old.
Instead, the focus could be on bolstering other positions with the budget.
