Manchester United are weighing up an ambitious move for Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen, according to Caught Offside.
The Red Devils signed Benjamin Sesko to strengthen their strike force last summer, but they are determined to land a strong competitor this time.
Osimhen has been identified as a top target for the Mancunian giants, but a deal won't be easy to pursue due to the price tag and wage demands.
Galatasaray are expected to demand at least 75 million pounds for the Nigerian ace, while the striker's salary requirements could be another concern.
Osimhen may want at least 300,000 pounds per week to join, while United are unlikely to pay more than 250,000 pounds per week, as per previous reports.
Hence, a transfer appears unlikely, and United may want to look for an alternative target. Crystal Palace's Jean-Philippe Mateta has also been linked.
The Frenchman is widely expected to leave the Eagles with his contract expiring next summer. He could be signed for 30 million pounds, as per reports.
