Milan confirm Ancelotti snub

Milan confirm Ancelotti snub

07 June 2008 - 23:38

AC Milan have confirmed that their manager Carlo Ancelotti may have received an offer from Premiership side Chelsea with regard to the vacant managerial job at Stamford Bridge.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • However, AC Milan have moved to confirm that although Ancelotti would be understandably interested in the role, he has instead rejected the opportunity.

Ancelotti still has two years left on his current contract, and after the snub it is understood that Chelsea could now turn their attentions back to Portugal boss Luiz Felipe Scolari instead.
