Serie A duo Como and Inter Milan are keen on signing Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah this summer, according to reputed journalist Fabrizio Romano.

  • Chido Obi to leave Man Utd on loan
  • Chelsea make opening bid to sign Granit Xhaka

  • The England international has been a key player for the Blues over the past few years, but his future is uncertain with new manager Xabi Alonso eyeing a new centre-back.

The club are in advanced talks to land Palace star Maxence Lacroix, and his arrival will coincide with Chalobah's exit. Romano now reveals that Como and Inter are vying for the signature of the Blues graduate.

The Serie A heavyweights have shown interest in the player, but more interest could intensify in the coming days. The Blues have yet to receive a formal transfer offer for Chalobah, who is valued at £35 million.

Chalobah is presently with England at the World Cup after a late call-up, but he will be permitted to undergo a medical if an agreement is reached. Three Lions boss Thomas Tuchel has conveyed the same.
