Manchester United are not fully convinced about landing the signature of Roma midfielder Manu Kone in the ongoing transfer window, according to The Telegraph.
The Red Devils have already secured two midfielders in Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans this summer, and they are planning for a third before the new season begins.
Kone is one of the top names on their radar, and reports have claimed that contact has been made with his entourage too.
Despite this, there is not universal internal backing at the Mancunian giants to pursue a deal for the France international thus far.
Kone had a good season with Roma in Serie A before stepping up for France at the World Cup with standout displays.
Still, there are questions regarding his ability and concerns about whether he can quickly adapt to the pace of the Premier League.
United may prefer someone with English top-flight experience as a third midfield signing. Fulham's Sander Berge could be targeted.
