Serie A side Como have made an approach to sign Chelsea striker Liam Delap, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Blues recently sanctioned the sale of centre-back Trevoh Chalobah to Como for a reported fee of £25 million.
Como are now looking into a deal for Delap, who had a poor debut season with the Blues, with just two goals to his name.
Delap was the backup striker behind Joao Pedro last term, but he now faces competition from Nicolas Jackson as well.
Jackson spent last season on loan with Bayern Munich, but he is currently determined to make his mark with Chelsea.
Hence, there is a realistic possibility that Delap could move on, and Como have initiated talks with the Blues' hierarchy.
Chelsea signed Delap from Ipswich Town for £30m and could seek a similar fee at least to part ways with his services.
Delap could open the door for a transfer, given Como would provide him regular game time and Champions League exposure.
