Chelsea set to suffer Pedro Neto transfer blow

Neto set for Chelsea stay?

Chelsea set to suffer Pedro Neto transfer blow

23 August 2026 - 20:19

Chelsea could miss out on selling winger Pedro Neto to Al-Hilal following their pursuit of Arsenal star Gabriel Martinelli.

  • Hull City want to sign Chelsea midfielder on loan
  • Chelsea set fresh asking price for Liam Delap

  • The Portuguese ace has been a key player for the Blues over the past couple of years, but his future is currently uncertain.

Neto was recently offered to Premier League rivals Manchester City, but they have no plans to meet the £100 million price tag.

It has since been claimed that Al-Hilal could match the valuation, but it appears they have changed their stance in the last 24 hours.

The Saudi Pro League giants are focused on landing Martinelli instead. The Brazilian ace has opened the door to joining the club.

Arsenal have set an asking price of £60m for the 25-year-old, given that he has entered the final year of his Gunners contract.

If Al-Hilal secure Martinez's services, it could end any chances of Neto joining them. This would be a blow for Chelsea.

As things stand, no club plans to meet the Blues' price tag for Neto.
