Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka returned to his best form on Nations League duty with England on Saturday.
The Gunners graduate recently went through a lean spell with unconvincing displays against Spain and Czechia.
He managed to redeem himself against Croatia today, scoring a brace in a thumping 7-0 victory on the road.
Saka was under pressure prior to the game, and there were suggestions that he should be dropped or rested.
However, manager Thomas Tuchel decided to start him again, and Saka made his mark with a fine brace.
His goals were his first from open play since the 1-0 win over Aston Villa in the Premier League in August.
England have one more fixture against Czechia at home before the extended international break ends.
Saka will most likely feature in that game too before returning to Premier League action with the Gunners.
Arsenal will hope he can carry over the good momentum as they seek to return to winning ways against Leeds United.
