Chelsea defender Malo Gusto has returned to full training after a brief illness, according to the club's official website.
The right-back was absent for the recent 2-0 win over Everton, but he has returned to team training in today's session.
Gusto will now aim to make the squad when the Blues host Tottenham Hotspur in Saturday's late Premier League kick-off.
The Frenchman is no longer an assured starter, and he is currently the third or fourth choice for the right wing-back position.
Manager Xabi Alonso has preferred Pedro Neto as the main man for the role with Marco Palestra recently coming off the bench.
Gusto is out of favour for the position with wonderkid Estevao also preferred ahead of him in the starting line-up this term.
The former Lyon man has played as a central midfielder in the past, but there is no guarantee of playing time in the role too.
Hence, we won't be surprised if he leaves next year.
