Hull for Marcus Bent

Hull for Marcus Bent

13 June 2008 - 00:17

Hull City are hoping to sign Marcus Bent for next season permanently from Charlton Athletic. Wigan turned down the opportunity to make their move for Bent permanent.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • Bent has since chose to return to his old club Charlton, and it is understood that Hull City manager Phil Brown wishes to make a move for the talented forward.

Bent was influential in helping guide Wigan to Premiership safety; but there was no guarantee of a permanent move for the forward.
