Croatia boss Slaven Bilic believes that the 2-1 victory his side gave Germany in the Euro 2008 tournament was more memorable than the victory over England that knocked out the Three Lions in Euro 2008 qualification.

"For me as a coach this was a more important victory than against England," Bilic said. "Wembley was a special story, a glorious night at a world-famous stadium. But it was all or nothing for England and not for us. We had already got our ticket to Euro 2008 so this was a much bigger achievement for us. But we have also shown what a strong team we are, not just in qualifying.



"Every team can win Euro 2008 - apart from Switzerland, of course. But we can win it."
