Barcelona midfielder dynamo Xavi as emerged as a top target for new Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho. It is understood the Portuguese coach is set to offer 16 million GBP to land the Spanish midfielder.

  • Xavi himself has always maintained he is happy at the club; but Pep Guardiola is rapidly changing things at Barcelona and the little Spaniard could be heading for the exit door.



    Xavi's agent Ivan Corretja insisted: "Fortunately, Xavi is a player highly respected worldwide, since his performances are always very consistent.



    "But his intention is to respect the contract he has with Barca and he is fascinated by the new plans of (Pep) Guardiola."
