Yoan Gouffran has reportedly moved a step closer to joining Bordeaux this summer. The Caen forward has also long been a target for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.

Now Bordeaux have made an offer to Caen - believed to be in the region of 5 million EUR - and Bordeaux's president Jean-Louis Triaud has admitted it is only a matter of time before he joins the club.



Bordeaux have already swooped to sign Yoann Gourcuff from AC Milan on loan this summer.
