Southampton are close to signing Lucien Mettomo on a free transfer. The out of contract Ccameroonian defender has been looking for a new club all summer.
Mettomo had most recently played for FC Luzern. He has also previously played with Kayseri Erciyesspor, 1. FC Kaiserslautern, and also played with English Premiership side Manchester City.
The player looked set to join Norwich after having a trial period at the Carrow Road club, but now looks set to join Southampton.
