Blackburn boss mystery

18 June 2008 - 14:07

There is an air of mystery with regards to the appointment of Blackburn Rovers' new boss, as the club's chairman admitted he flew to the Euro 2008 tournament to hold discussions with a candidate.

  • Man Utd without four players for Bournemouth clash
  • Liam Rosenior on Enzo Fernandez's Chelsea future
  • A host of names have been linked with the job; Henk Ten Cate, Paul Ince and Steve McClaren most prominently.

The Blackburn chairman told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph: “I did go to see someone at the European Championships yesterday (Tuesday) but unfortunately I wasn’t able to stay for the Italy-France game because I had to get back and carry on with the process.”
