Queiroz weighing up future

Queiroz weighing up future

19 September 2007 - 15:46

Carlos Queiroz is reportedly frustrated with life as Sir Alex Ferguson's assistant at Man Utd and is tempted to return to football management. The Portuguese number 2 has emphasised that he will weigh up his options in January.

  • Chelsea expected to sell striker after loan deal
  • Arsenal defender misses training ahead of Man Utd game

  • Alex Ferguson has previously said he hopes Queiroz may take charge at United one day, but Ferguson has indicated he has no intention of standing down anytime soon.

Queiroz said, "I need to reflect on what I want to do in this last part of my career.

"In December I’m going to stop and think about myself.

"My contract is perpetual and caters for various options. But I only have one life and one career. I am going to think about it and go for the route that makes me most happy."
