  • Palop is currently on duty with the Spanish international squad at Euro 2008 and has been with Sevilla since the summer of 2005 when he signed for the Andalucians from Valencia after years of playing second fiddle to Santiago Canizares who has now left the club.

Valencia are keen on taking Palop back on board and have assured the player that he shall be the first choice custodian under new coach Unai Emery next season. Palop is said to be interested in moving back to his hometown club.

Valencia representatives shall meet Andres Palop's agents and the Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido this week and shall try and settle the matter before the end of this month.
