Ben Sahar loaned to Portsmouth

The Israeli international had been send on loan for the whole of last season playing at Queens Park Rangers and Sheffield Wednesday, he has been sent again to Portsmouth on a six month loan deal for gaining first team football experience.

  • The Chelsea youngster, Ben Sahar, completed his six months loan move to Portsmouth. Chelsea have enough depth in their squad and is been sending Sahar on loan for the third time in two years.



    Portsmouth is happy to have signed the highly rated 18-year old, Sahar will add more depth to their team.



    Manager Harry Redknapp has been trying to strengthen his squad and it seems that Sahar will get more first team opportunities at Fratton Park.



    "I've always wanted to be part of a Premier League team and I'm happy to be at Portsmouth," he told the club's official website.



    "I'm ready for the challenge of being part of such a big club.



    "I want to be part of it and to show that I deserve to be here."
