Stoke City are reportedly close to signing Marton Fulop for a fee believed to be in the region of £1.7 million from Sunderland.
"I can confirm that Stoke City want to sign me. The talks are going very well.
"If everything goes well then my future will be decided in the next two weeks. I do want to leave Sunderland in order to have first-team football."
