Deschamps to Chelsea?

French manager Didier Deschamps is being linked with the long-term post at Chelsea in the wake of Jose Mourinho's departure at Chelsea. Avram Grant and Steve Clarke in currently in charge of team affairs, but may not be considered a long-term solution.

  • Deschamps is out of contract after previously managing Juventus, who are now coached by Claudio Ranieri.



    If Abramovich is looking for a long-term successor, Deschamps could be the man. The 38 year old offers a wealth of as a player, having represented Bordeaux, Marseille, Juventus, and - of course, Chelsea.



    He has famously managed Monaco to the Champions League final against Porto, who were ironically managed by Jose Mourinho.
