Laursen happy at Aston Villa

Martin Laursen has revealed that he is happy to stay at Aston Villa, despite interest from several clubs in signing the talented Danish defender. It is understood that Roma have made an offer for the centre back.

"I played every game last season and I would pay a lot of money to do the same again this season. That was my big aim a year ago and it is still my big aim this time," Laursen told Villa's official website.



"I spent too long injured here and I just want to play football. I want to play games and I am doing everything that I can to stay fit and play as many games as possible."
