Premiership giants Arsenal are preparing a bid for the River Plate hotshot Radamel Falcao as manager Arsene Wenger is desperate to add some fresh blood into his team.

  • Chelsea midfielder looking forward to London derby vs Spurs
  • Arsenal in the front row to sign Dutch striker

  • Falcao is regarded as the best and most prolific goalscorers in South American football at the moment and has been arguably the best player for River Plate in the last three seasons.

The Colombian international is just 22 years of age and there are several big clubs in Europe who are eyeing the player.

Both Real Madrid and Manchester United have made it clear that they fancy the player and if The Sun is to be believed, then Arsenal too have thrwon their hats into the mix.

Arsene Wenger is said to be ready to spend 8 million pounds for the player but River Plate would require at least 12 million.
