Another twist is set to emerge from the Chelsea managerial saga this week, as it is believed that Avram Grant wishes to employ Jamie Redknapp as an assistant and Peter Kenyon also backs the move.

The Chelsea backroom are reportedly happy for such a move to happen, and Avram has touched base with Jamie whilst Grant was Director of Football at Portsmouth; when Jamie's father Harry Redknapp was head coach of the Southern side.
