Pablo Aimar could be set to perform a shock u-turn and join Newcastle United; despite terms with Benfica over his transfer fee and his wage already reportedly being agreed.
It is understood that Aimar will be arriving on the Tyne in the next two days to discuss terms with the Geordie side.
