Blackburn Rovers are believed to be close to completing a move for Per Ciljan Skjelbred. Paul Ince has confirmed his admiration for the Norway international, and is set to pay £7 million for the Rosenborg youngster.
"They might have watched other players too," advisor Andreas Ekker told Adresseavisen.
"But Blackburn and Ajax are two clubs who have been mentioned in connection with Per in the past."
Skjelbred is regarded as one of the hottest properties in Norweigan football.
