Former Blackburn team mate Brad Friedel believes that David Bentley will shine at any club that he chooses to go to. Liverpool and Tottenham have been linked with the England right midfielder.
âIf he puts on a Blackburn Rovers shirt heâll be tremendous for them, if he puts on somebody elseâs shirt heâll be tremendous for those clubs as well,â said Friedel on Setanta Sports News.
âAgain, itâs entirely down to what occurs with his transfer situation. Iâm not privy to it, but wherever David Bentley plays heâs going to do a tremendous job for that football club.â
