Friedel: Bentley will shine

Former Blackburn team mate Brad Friedel believes that David Bentley will shine at any club that he chooses to go to. Liverpool and Tottenham have been linked with the England right midfielder.

“If he puts on a Blackburn Rovers shirt he’ll be tremendous for them, if he puts on somebody else’s shirt he’ll be tremendous for those clubs as well,” said Friedel on Setanta Sports News.

“Again, it’s entirely down to what occurs with his transfer situation. I’m not privy to it, but wherever David Bentley plays he’s going to do a tremendous job for that football club.”
