Spanish and European giants Real Madrid have reached an agreement with German side SV Hamburg over the signing of the Dutch international midfielder Rafael van der Vaart.
Real have been linked with the former Ajax Amsterdam youngster since the middle of last month and has now finally signed the player.
Real shall pay Hamburg roughly around 9 million pounds and Van der Vaart shall sign a five-year contract with the Merengues on Tuesday.
The Dutch international has already bid farewell to Hamburg and has said that he is looking forward to a new chapter in his life as he prepares to arch across from Germany to Spain to Real Madrid.
