Lukas Podolski has remained quiet on reports linking him with a move to Real Madrid in the January transfer window, instead insisting he is focused on his job playing for Germany.

It is understood that Real are lining up Podolski as a replacement for Robinho, who joined Manchester City on transfer deadline day.



“It’s not the moment to speak about this,” Podolski told reporters.



“I’m concentrated on Germany and right now I’m thinking about our next World Cup qualifiers.”
