There are reports in Italy that Genoa are set to make a move for Dutch international midfielder Edgar Davids. The free transfer window is still open, and Davids could well be on his way to Italy.
President Enrico Preziosi is a huge fan of Davids' talents.
It is understood that Genoa are set to pay a reported £50,000 a week to the Dutchman to bring him to the club.
The 35 year old is set to return to Italy, where he has already had spells with Inter Milan and AC Milan.
