It is understood that Bayern Munich are set to make a January transfer window offer for Russian international midfielder Andrei Arshavin. Bayern will look to rival Tottenham for the player's signature.

It is understood that Tottenham coach Juande Ramos has made Arshavin his number one priority for January.



However, Arshavin himself has yet to decide where he wishes to move, and now the interest of Bayern Munich could tempt the Russian to look for a move away from Zenit and reject the lure of the Premiership.
