Freddy Adu looks set to complete a transfer to Benfica to replace Simao who 2 days ago signed for Atletico Madrid. Adu will be moving to Benfica in a 2M EUR deal.
The 18 year old has 1 cap for the USA and hasn't yet shown the promise that many predicted of the Ghana born youngster. Adu has also been linked with Parma and Celtic.
